Your rights and our procedures
This policy explains your rights and our procedures regarding order cancellations, statutory withdrawals, and returns for purchases made on miglilashes.com.
1. Order Cancellation (Before Shipment)
Orders may be cancelled within 1 hour of placement, provided that order processing has not yet begun.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted within this 1-hour window
- Once processing has started, the order can no longer be cancelled
- If a valid cancellation request is received within this period, we will process the refund without undue delay, using the original payment method and subject to the timelines of the payment provider
Important clarification: This cancellation option is a voluntary operational service offered for convenience and does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal under EU and UK consumer law, which applies after delivery as described below.
2. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (EU & UK Consumers)
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
Withdrawal period
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the goods.
3. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear and unequivocal statement. You may do this by:
- Emailing us at support@miglilashes.com, or
- Using the order return form available on our website
No specific format is required. You may use a model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.
4. Effects of Withdrawal (Refunds)
If you withdraw from this contract:
- We will reimburse all eligible payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw
- Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction
- We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first
- Any additional costs resulting from the choice of a non-standard or express delivery method will not be refunded.
5. Return of Goods
Unless an exception applies, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicated your withdrawal.
Returned items must be:
- Unused
- Unopened
- In their original packaging
- In a condition suitable for resale
You are responsible for ensuring the goods are returned safely and appropriately packaged.
6. Hygiene & Sealed Goods Exception
In accordance with Article 16(e) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Opened adhesives or liquid products
- Products with broken hygiene seals
- Used or applied lash products
Once such products have been unsealed after delivery, they are non-returnable.
7. Return Shipping Costs
- Statutory withdrawals: Return shipping costs are borne by the customer
- Defective, damaged, or incorrect items: We will cover the return shipping costs
Any applicable return instructions will be provided once your return request is acknowledged.
8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after delivery, providing:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs where applicable
We will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.
